Earthmoving

Tasman maintains a large fleet of heavy equipment to conduct large-scale earth moving. From 100,000+ cubic yard digs to subsurface utility installation, we have in-house expertise and equipment to get it done. Our operators are accustomed to excavating to extreme depths.

Drilling and Hydro-Vacuum

Tasman owns and operates an AMS 9500 Power Probe equipped with both direct push and auger drilling capabilities and Tasman conducts pre-clearance operations using a 2020 Vactor HXX Paradigm equipped with a 700-gallon debris tank.

Retail Service Station

Tasman conducts a variety of service station operation and maintenance services including stormwater removal from secondary containment, hydrostatic testing, waste hauling & disposal, oil/water separation, tank gauging and cleaning, line purging, and filter replacement.

Fabrication

Fabrication occurs in our newly expanded fabrication shop which includes welding equipment, pipe treading machines and life equipment to manage larger treatment system skids. Our fab team builds custom treatment systems that are custom engineered based on the client's site-specific requirements.

Specialty Services

Tasman provides high risk and innovative construction services such as regulated asbestos contaminated soil excavation and disposal, cutoff and recovery wall installation, soil mixing, and structure demolition. We also operate in hazardous conditions under supplied air or purified air respiratory protection.

Waste Management

Tasman’s national footprint has fostered strong relationships with a number of key waste companies across the country. By managing all waste logistics, we can better leverage our relationships to be cost competitive and remove the worry of waste for our clients.

Self-Perform Capability

Our senior construction leaders have assembled the workforce and equipment array to self-execute nearly every facet of the work we perform. This enables us to mitigate disruption that can be caused by sourcing outside labor, subcontractors, and equipment that may be outside our direct control. Tasman’s ability to self-perform enables us to enhance your project through the following key elements:

  • Superior schedule management and forecasting

  • Greater project cost control and reliable cost forecasting

  • Enhanced workmanship and quality

  • Enhanced supply chain logistics

  • Reduction in material and equipment delays

  • Better management of safety expectations, training, and culture

  • Optimized production schedule due to owner/operator equipment strategy

Equipment

Tasman has a large fleet of equipment to support our remediation, abatement, cleanup, and business unit operations. Owning equipment enables Tasman to rapidly respond to environmental cleanup projects, control cost and schedule, and ensure consistent operation and maintenance. Self-performing our projects with owned equipment limits the need for outside subcontractors and vendors who may cause schedule delays and result in cost overrun. Tasman has invested millions of dollars into our fleet which ensures we have access to the newest and most efficient equipment technology.

Subcontractor Management

While Tasman prides itself on self-executing projects, there is often a need for a specialty contractor that is required to complete the project. Tasman has a vast network of contractors that we rely on for services such as transportation, waste disposal, electrical, and flatwork to name a few. Many of the contractors we obtain services from have been working with Tasman for 5 or more years which has resulted in strong and trustworthy relationships. Our subcontractors are vetted through our Service Agreement and pre-qualification program which reviews the contractor’s insurance, safety record, and experience prior to them ever stepping foot on one of our jobsites.
