  • Project Value: $175K

Red Wave Compressor Station, Weld County, Colorado

Tasman was contracted by a large oil and gas midstream company to assess and complete the abatement and proper disposal of pipe coating and soil impacted by ACM. Tasman worked with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to develop an abatement plan that met all applicable state and federal regulations while developing procedures that maximized efficiency and safety for on-site personnel. Over 7,500 lf of piping was properly abated and transported to a local landfill for disposal. In addition, over 900 cubic yards of ACM impacted soil was removed and transported for disposal. Clean fill material was brought in and Tasman backfilled and leveled the area to the requirements outlined by the landowner. All work was completed in two weeks.
